About Aiways
Aiways is a Chinese electric-car manufacturer whose vehicles include the U5 SUV and the U6 SUV coupe. The U5 was shown at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the company prepared to enter European markets.1
The U5 reached Denmark in spring 2021. The U6 followed as Aiways’ second production model in 2022, with a different body design and a redesigned cabin.23
The U6 uses the company’s MAS electric-vehicle platform. Its European specification pairs an electric motor with a 63 kWh battery.4
