VinFast OBD-II support

Pelican knows 4 VinFast models. The OBDb has no parameter data for them yet.

Every VinFast that supports OBD-II also reports the standard parameters, such as speed and engine data.

About VinFast

VinFast is a Vietnamese vehicle manufacturer established by Vingroup in 2017. Its first cars, the Lux A2.0 sedan and Lux SA2.0 SUV, appeared at the Paris Motor Show in 2018. Its Hai Phong automobile factory opened in 2019.1

The company moved into electric passenger vehicles with the VF e34, delivering its first examples in Vietnam in December 2021. The larger VF 8 reached its first Vietnamese customers in September 2022.23

VinFast’s first export shipment of electric cars comprised 999 VF 8 vehicles in November 2022. Its vehicle business also includes electric scooters, and the company listed on Nasdaq in 2023.14
