About Polestar
Polestar is a vehicle brand based near Gothenburg, Sweden. It developed from a racing and Volvo performance-engineering business and was established as a separate electric performance brand in 2017.1
The Polestar 1 was a limited-production plug-in hybrid coupe. The Polestar 2, which entered production in 2020, established the brand’s battery electric passenger-car range.1
