About Cupra
Cupra is a Spanish car brand created by SEAT in 2018. Its Formentor was the first model designed exclusively for the brand, following the Ateca and Leon families.1
The Born became Cupra’s first battery-electric car in 2021. The Tavascan expanded the electric range, while the Terramar added another SUV to the lineup.12
Cupra vehicles are built at several Volkswagen Group factories. In 2024, production included the Born in Zwickau, Tavascan in Anhui and Terramar in Gyor, alongside models manufactured at Martorell in Spain.2
