About BAC

BAC is the Briggs Automotive Company, a British manufacturer of single-seat sports cars. Its Mono was launched in 2011 with a 2.3-liter engine and a road-legal, open-cockpit layout.1

The wider Mono W followed in 2016 with a 2.5-liter engine. The Mono R introduced a new body design and graphene-enhanced carbon-fiber panels; BAC quoted 343 bhp and a weight of 555 kg for that model.12

A new Mono generation followed in 2023, retaining the original car’s single-seat configuration. BAC also developed a dedicated track model called the Mono Cup.1
